Ramstein Rogues dominate season-opening tournament


After a disappointing second place finish last season, the Ramstein Rogues started strong with a first place finish in the Rhineland Pfalz season-opening tournament. The Rogues traveled strong in numbers to Mainz Saturday, including a dedicated core of supporters, for a long hard day of rugby. In the first of three matches, Ramstein came up against K-Town/Speyer, after struggling in a scoreless first half the Rogues opened up the second, winning 15 -0. After a long rest between games the Rogues faced Trier, at halftime Ramstein led 14-0.

The intramural flag football season got kicked off last week with 435th CS(A) and 431st CES opening things up on Aug. 29.
435th CS took the game with an 18-12 victory.
