Golf swings into action

The intramural golf playoffs started Tuesday with eight matches at Ramstein’s Woodlawn Golf Course.

The competition kicked off in the Northern Division bracket. 1 CMXS beat 86 MOS by default when 86 MOS forfeited. 435 MMS(A) followed with a 6-0 win over 435 VRS. AFETS then beat 4 ASOS 5-1.

The Southern Division bracket also played on Tuesday and started in the afternoon.

U.SFS started the southern bracket off with a 5.5-.5 win over 32 AIS. 38 CTS followed with a 4-2 win over 24 IS.

Next up was the best match of the day. 435 CPTS and 700 CONS tied at 3-3 before 435 CPTS was given the victory because of a better scorecard.
The action closed out with U.A4 winning handily over 435 MMS(B) 6-0.
