Ramstein American High School students who recently won at Bitburg’s National History Day district competition will compete in Heidelberg’s competition later this month.

National History Day allows students to engage in discovery and analysis of historical topics related to an annual theme.

This year’s theme “Triumph and Tragedy in History” was a fascinating one for students at Ramstein.

RAHS students used their talents to produce creative and scholarly projects in the form of exhibits, documentaries, historical papers, and performances.

“I was impressed with the fantastic work our students did and how well organized this event was,” said Susan Moore, a judge. “It was a pleasure for me to work with Mrs. McCoy and her colleagues. As a parent, thank you for doing your part to change the world.”
