Ramstein Middle School students, parents, staff and special guests interacted with individuals from the past and present at the Living Wax Museum.

As part of their study about biographies and autobiographies, students in language arts classes at the school chose an individual who made a significant contribution to history or overcame adversity.

When exhibits were activated, students “came to life” with short presentations informing the audience about the person, their achievements and interesting events in their lives. Additionally, these sixth-grade students completed research papers and created challenging scavenger hunts for the student visitors to do as they traveled through the museum.

“It was an amazing experience for my students,” said Sequinn Lee, a language arts teacher at RMS. “Stepping into the shoes of the person they selected and presenting it to an audience made events and information come to life.”
