A four-man team from U.S. Air Forces in Europe recently spent a week
delivering badly needed medical expertise and therapy to the African
country of Uganda.
Personnel in the KMC will have the chance to get travel and/or
citizenship documents quicker this month. The Ramstein Passport Office
is hosting a Consular Outreach Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 29 at the
Hercules Theater, Bldg. 2101. Representatives from the U.S. Consulate
office in Frankfurt, the Department of Homeland Security, the Immigrant
Visa Unit and the Federal Benefits Unit (Social Security
Administration) will all be available. During this time, customers can
submit all required paperwork, photos, and payments required for
passports.
Thousands of lives have been touched by the selfless efforts of Cindy
Secor, the Air Combat Command Joan Orr Spouse of the Year award winner
for 2006.
U.S. Air Forces in Europe unveiled a program called Air Force Bandstand
in December. The program, utilized through www.usafband.com, allows
streaming music and Air Force news to be delivered to government
computers.
