Berlin Wall, my staff totaled five people with no computers, building,
furniture or phones. Despite the lack of resources and people, I knew
the commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe had given me a

Smooth Move (formally Combat INTRO/Exit) officially opened its doors at a ceremony April 7. Col. Rod Zastrow, 435th Air Base Wing vice commander, presided over the ceremony that took place at Bldg. 2402 on Ramstein. The program is designed to welcome Airmen as one of their first major in-processing stops and then bids farewell to them as one of their last.
