Housing Hype: Self-help store is open

The Self-Help Store is open!

During these COVID-19 times, the KMC Housing Office remains dedicated to assisting our housing residents.

As such, we are keeping the Self-Help Store open to allow you to ensure/maintain the quality and safety of your home.

Locations:

Ramstein, Bldg. 859

Vogelweh, Bldg. 1070

Hours of operation:

Mon – Fri: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Sat: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Self-Help Store provides on-base residents with tools and resources to help ensure a clean, safe and healthy living environment. As residents, you are responsible for the cleanliness and simple maintenance and repair of your home such as: changing light bulbs, replacing sink stoppers or shower hoses, cleaning stove burners and basic pest control. The Self-Help Stores at Ramstein & Vogelweh remain ready to support our on-base residents.

As spring approaches, some upcoming tasks to consider are:

Inspect your home for overlooked (winter) maintenance items

Start your ” Spring Cleaning”

Trim your trees and bushes

Begin to water and mow your lawn (seed/fertilizer and other lawn tools available at Self-Help)
